Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge

Have you ever dreamed of waking up to see the beauty of the African bush as you look out the window? The Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge transforms your dream into a reality.
Drive deep into the 55,000 hectare Pilanesberg National Park, where our lodge is located, and spend your vacation surrounded by wildlife while safely nestled inside of a malaria-free zone. The lodge is located along the slope of an ancient volcano, offering one of the most breathtaking views you’ve ever seen.

Sightsee

Spend the day out on a game drive where one of our guides will take you the best spots to see elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, leopards, antelopes, and more.  If you want to get really up-close and personal with the animals, consider going on a guided bush walk or spending some time in the underground hide near the watering hole, where you can see the animals in their natural habitat without being seen. If you’d rather not venture off the hotel grounds, you can watch a live webcam feed of the watering hole. You might also see any one of over 360 bird species who live on the bush flitting about outside your window.

Relax

After an exhilarating day spent sightseeing, come back to the hotel grounds for a chance to relax. Play putt-putt golf, taking a dip in one of our two gorgeous swimming pools, spend some time on the tennis courts, or, for the ultimate day of pampering, spend a few hours at our luxurious spa. Try a volcanic milk facial to get glowing skin or consider an aloe oil couple’s massage to rekindle a romance.

Eat

End the day with the most mouth-watering meal you’ve ever had at the Kwa Maritane Lodge’s on-site restaurant, where you can choose from a large menu of traditional South African dishes. Choosing which dish to order might just be the most difficult decision of your entire stay.
If you’re in the mood for some alone time, you can have dinner delivered right to your room. Enjoy your food as you watch the sun go down from inside of your own personal sanctuary.
